This Saturday, thanks to STCU and the Museum of Art and Culture, MAC, will be opening their doors to the public for free. I encourage everybody to come and enjoy the SPOMa exhibit. I was asked by CK Anderson of Helveticka to shoot some photos of new and old modern architecture for the exhibit. Before I was asked to participate on this project, I was unaware of the vast amount of modern architecture there was here in Spokane and to find out some of my favorite buildings are a part of this show. Click here or here to for a brief history of some of the greatest architects that came out of Spokane and even influence Frank Lloyd Wright. I also cannot leave out Harold Balazs, an international artist who created sculptures alongside the architecture and all around Spokane throughout this time period.
Also here are a few of the photo that I shot for the exhibit.
