Gonzaga Climbing Classes @ Wild Walls

GU Wild Walls

I have been working on shooting images for Wild Walls' new website. Last week, they asked if I would shoot an image for a poster for the climbing class for next year, and I agreed. I always get excited to shoot climbing photos. Todd Mires, Phil Sanders, and myself came up with the idea to make a image that was shot from above, looking down on the model's hand, and letting the rest of the image fall off (go out of focus).  I want to "Thank" Taylor Moravec and Javier Sparks for stepping up and being great models.

PARKADE

PARKADE

This is a photo of the Parkade in downtown Spokane, Washington. It has to be my favorite buildings in Spokane.  It was built for $3.5 million in 1967 by the Sceva Construction Company, and the architect for the project was Warren C. Heylman. Warren was presented an award for 'excellence in use of concrete' in 1968.

Train ride home from North Dakota

Valodia and Nova on the Train

On the train ride home from North Dakota, it was a very overcast day, so there wasn't much going on outside the windows. Once in awhile, the sun would peak out from the clouds and I would start shooting. I spent most of my time talking to people that were in the observation cart. This is where I captured the photos of Valodia and his daughter, Nova. I really enjoyed my train ride back. Thank you to the people that let me be apart of their lives, I know that I will remember you!

Train ride to North Dakota

My Trip to North Dakota

Recently, on a train trip to North Dakota, I could not sleep and kept looking out my dirty window, watching the sun come up over the beautiful landscape of Montana. I knew if I started shooting images, they would have to be soft because of the dirt on the windows and the speed of the train. I could not help it, I had to take out my camera and start shooting. I was happy that I did, I hope you enjoy the images.

Longboat Key Dog

This was my last day in Florida, hangingout on Longboat Key

I shot these photos of this dog on the last day I was in Florida. I was driving around, lost, in Sarasota. I got fed up with getting honked at and then ran a red light, so I spotted a parking lot, pulled into it, and jumped out of my car to take a deep breath. After I calmed myself down, I grabbed my camera and started walking around and saw this dog, hanging out by himself. I just walked by him and went on looking for something to shoot, but about 15 mins later I passed by him again and decided to shoot a few photos. These are the results.

TUM TUM TREE

I was tearing down my equipment from a shoot out in Tum Tum,  Washington and saw this tree out in a field, overlooking Long Lake. Noticing that the fog was lifting and the light was changing at a fast pace, I pulled out my camera out and got off about ten shots before the opportunity ran out.
