I was ask to shoot some photos of Spokane's own metal band, Mercy Brown, at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, Washington. If metal is something you enjoy, then this is the band you definitely need to check out.
There one obstacle I had to get through. I could not use any flash at all. There was video being shot through out the show. I knew that I would have to cope with the stage lights and there would be a little blur in the images, so I just had fun with it.

On Monday, the American Advertising Federation of Spokane picked a panel of three accomplished creatives, Mickey Lonchar - Quisenberry Marketing & Design, Ed Renouard - Renouard Communications and Sean Lumsden - Quinn Group, to discuss what makes Super Bowl ads greats or failures, trends, and how they have become a part of our culture. I always have a lot of fun going to the events that AAF Spokane puts on and walking away knowing someone or learning something new. Here are some of the photos from the event.

Last Friday was the Spokane 2012 ADDY Awards "Call For Entries" party at nYne. People throughout our local advertising community braved the the sheer sheet of ice on the roads and the freezing rain to enjoy great food, a few drinks, a few games of horse or around the world, and to be around some of the best creative minds in the industry. The West Coast Gelande Quaff championship was held at Woodsky's in Seattle, WA last Saturday. This marked the first annual West Coast championship and the 1 year anniversary of Woodsky's. The Gelande Quaff is an obscure beer drinking game invented in Jackson Hole, WY by the legendary JH Airforce dating back to 1986. The winner of this years event was the Foggy Goggle who won a spot to the World Championships in Jackson Hole later this year. The event was a great success and fun to watch.
